River cruising, Chi Chi fitness and spring is here!

We enjoyed a session of Chi Chi fitness at Forest Cottage.  This is organised by Lead the Way, and it’s a fun-filled morning that we all enjoy.

At the weekend we went on a lovely trip on the canal with Safe Anchor Trust based in Mirfield.

We all enjoy the tranquil time and taking turns steering the boat and opening the locks.

It’s great that some of the boats are wheelchair accessible, as this meant we could all go out and enjoy the trip.

Ross has had a busy week.  He has been working hard helping to clean up the sensory garden.

He also made his own dinner, including doing the washing up.

Alex has been enjoying learning to do some water colour painting with Holly in the Hub.

She painted a lovely flower to take home for her mum.

This weekend while the weather was nice, Cameron enjoyed some time in the sensory garden as well as using the omni projector in the sensory room.

Mason and Gary went to Lotherton Hall, they enjoyed walking around the garden and looking at all the animals.

He found a lovely spot to eat his packed lunch too.

Connor has been using the tiny tablet.  He wrote all his own care notes on the software we have on it, and he also played some word games.

Alix enjoyed some time out around Shibden Park with Penny, he likes going around the park and looking at the ducks.

Alex went to Eureka this week.

He really enjoys all the different interactive displays and exploring the museum.
